Web3-smartphone from Vertu for $41,000.

Vertu has introduced a new Metavertu Web3 phone. Its features include running your own Ethereum node, creating an NFT from photos and videos with one click, creating a non-custodial wallet, and accessing a suite of DeFi apps. There is also an encrypted messenger Vtalk.

The basic version costs $3,600, the maximum with gold and diamonds is $41,000. It will be on sale from November 3 on the Vertu website.

 

Apple introduces an additional tax on NFT trading.

The update added wording to the App Store guidelines that allows in-app purchases of NFTs, but also strictly prohibits the use of any NFTs purchased elsewhere for anything other than browsing.

A year and a half in prison for a hacker who sold unreleased songs for BTC.

He sold at least two of Sheeran's songs on the dark web in exchange for bitcoin. Police confiscated seven devices from his home, including over a thousand unreleased songs from 89 artists.
